Built on Strength. Guided by Compassion.
About Booster Homes
Booster Homes was founded on a simple belief: people are capable of transforming their lives when given the right structure, stability, and opportunity.
As a female veteran-owned and operated organization, we are grounded in resilience while also committed to creating an environment built on respect, stability, and community. We understand that rebuilding your life requires structure, accountability, and a stable environment.
The name “Booster” reflects our mission—to provide that extra push and support people need to move forward. We don’t do the work for you—but we provide a consistent, structured living environment that supports personal responsibility, stability, and community.
At Booster Homes, we are more than a place to stay. We provide structured, substance-free housing where individuals can rebuild stability and move forward with confidence.
Our Mission
To provide safe, structured housing where individuals are supported with accountability, respect, and community as they rebuild their lives and move forward with confidence.
Our Founder
Booster Homes was founded by Heidi Kim, a female combat-disabled veteran, business owner, and mother of five boys.
Her journey includes lived experience with substance use and recovery, surviving domestic violence, and navigating profound personal loss. These experiences shaped her understanding of what it truly takes to rebuild—not just in theory, but in real life.
She founded Booster Homes with the belief that while change is always possible, it often requires the right environment, support, and structure to sustain it. Her goal was to create a space that reflects both accountability and compassion—where individuals are provided a stable, structured environment while maintaining responsibility for their own growth.
Today, her leadership continues to shape a community where individuals can rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and purpose.
